Crown Career Pathways (CCP) is a bridge for Indigenous graduates from eligible post-secondary institutes into employment with the Crown sector, provincial government or the private sector in Saskatchewan.
CCP provides a 12-month paid internship across Saskatchewan’s Crown sector. Saskatchewan’s Crowns represent a diverse portfolio energy, telecommunications, insurance, gaming, and water services.
Internship opportunities are offered throughout the year. Interested candidates are encouraged to check regularly as opportunities become available across the Crown sector.
This initiative was developed in consideration of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action – specifically #92, which calls on the public sector to increase employment opportunities for Indigenous peoples.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Self-declared Indigenous graduates who completed their programs within the last two years from one of these Saskatchewan post-secondary institutions:
- University of Saskatchewan, University of Regina, First Nations University of Canada (and other Federated Colleges)
- Saskatchewan Polytechnic
- Gabriel Dumont Institute (GDI)
- Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies (SIIT)
- Saskatchewan Regional and Career Colleges: Great Plains College, Lakeland College, North West College, Northlands College, Southeast College, Suncrest College
