On February 25, 2005, CIC announced that it had formed a partnership with the University of Saskatchewan to establish the Mathematics and Science Enrichment Program for aboriginal students. The program will help First Nations and Metis students prepare for further study or careers in the maths and sciences. The program will assist up to 50 aboriginal students each year over five years.
