Saskatchewan Government Growth Fund

Saskatchewan Government Growth Fund Management Corporation (SGGFMC) was established in 1989 to participate in the federal government’s Immigrant Investor Program.   Its purpose was to create economic wealth and diversification through investment of immigrant investor capital in Saskatchewan.

Eight fund companies were created under the program which raised more than $282 million of immigrant investor capital.

The federal government’s Immigrant Investor program is now expired and the SGGFMC has been dissolved effective March, 2009.    The corporation’s financial reports are available in the publications section of this website.

Since October 2000, management of the Fund companies has been contracted to Crown Capital Partners.   While the fund is fully vested, Crown Capital Partners continues to manage the existing portfolio with a mandate to benefit the Saskatchewan economy while providing a return of capital and nominal investment income to the immigrant investors.
