Government Growth Fund Management Corporation (SGGF MC)
SGGF MC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of CIC which was established in 1989. It has operated under the federal government's Immigrant Investor Program (IIP), creating and managing subsidiary fund companies to raise venture capital from new Canadian immigrants. The IIP ended on March 31, 1999, but the capital raised will need to be managed for at least the next three years. Management services were contracted to Crown Capital Partners Inc. in 2000.
